Matt Klein blue Gold dipped porcelain dangles are hand made by me in Montreal in Nov 2022
I have been wanting to try mix pigment stains powder with clay and finally after experimenting a few times and i have got the result /color I want.
Inspired by Klein blue, not that intense blue though..
They are hand rolled and twisted many times for the color blend in the clay, since it’s hand build technique, some of bubbles can be seen on the gold painted part.
Each piece is unique in the world.
Sizing:3 cm x 1.8 cm (Huggie hoops)
I handcutted them and fired 3 times and approx 2 weeks to complete this batch.
The gold part was 22kt real liquid gold and painted on a glaze layer.
Metal part: stainless gold plated for sensitive ears.
